HQPlantations is one of the largest plantation growers in Australia and leverages the latest GIS and remote sensing technology to help us efficiently manage, monitor and measure our forests.

We are now looking for a Geospatial Analyst to join our Geospatial Team and help us develop and implement a vision for our GIS and remote sensing programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace;
- Manage the effective acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of remote sensing datasets for the business;
- Develop and implement spatial data analysis workflows that support business decision making;
- Provide professional GIS services including system development, administration, training and user support;
- Foster an inclusive, culturally aligned, and high performing team environment; and
- Participate in fire management activities according to your competency level and physical abilities.
Here's what you need to thrive in this role:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in geospatial sciences, information technology, data science, forestry, engineering, surveying or other relevant tertiary qualification.
- Relevant experience in acquisition, management and analysis of spatial data from various sources including satellite, airborne and terrestrial platforms.
- Proficiency in the use of GIS software, preferably the ESRI product suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- A team player with excellent communication.
- Unrestricted "C" class drivers licence.
- Working rights in Australia or willingness to obtain.
