International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8 March, a global day recognising the achievements and contributions of women, while also encouraging conversations around equality, respect and opportunity. This year’s theme of “Balance the Scales” invites us to reflect on how we create a fair, inclusive and supportive environment within HQP, our families and our wider community. 

We also know that more than 30% of HQP’s employees have caring responsibilities, and that’s why we are focused on making our workplace work for families, regardless of age or gender. #2025 DCA HQP survey. 

In support of International Women’s Day, celebrated on Saturday, we are proud to announce that we recently received certification as a Family Inclusive Workplace by Parents at Work. This certification recognises organisations who implement best practice policies supporting employees’ work life balance, inclusion, and wellbeing. 

HQP’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee continues to shift our focus from simple compliance toward genuinely embedding family friendly practices into our everyday culture. Our annual action plan reinforces this commitment by driving ongoing improvement in our family friendly workplace initiatives and actively promoting equity for all employees across HQP.
