Fraser Coast road works, maintenance and fire protection services

HQP is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to source suitably qualified suppliers to perform road construction, maintenance and fire protection services on the Fraser Coast for two years from August 2025, with an option for the parties to extend for one year.

The main work opportunity offered by this RFP is:

• road construction and maintenance including bridge and culvert construction;
• quarry operations, inclusive of Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 (Qld) management;
• roadside slashing;
• technical and advisory services including bridge inspections and traffic management planning and technical specification advice; and
• fire protection services.

While the work will principally be required at HQP’s managed plantations within the Fraser Coast, this may be extended to other locations depending on performance and future business opportunities that may arise from time to time. More information is included in the draft contract, specifications and related contract documents which are available upon request.

The commencement date will be confirmed with the successful Respondents once negotiations have concluded.
