The Kokoda challenge is an endurance hiking event, planned for 10 May 2025 in parts of Imbil State Forest. An estimated 2,000 hikers are expected to attend this event.

For safety reasons, access to these areas will be restricted during the event. We ask all visitors to observe these restrictions and avoid the area for the day. Signage will be in place to mark restricted zones clearly.
